German Linen Placemat Sets
In the small Bavarian town of Bad Aibling, almost on the Austrian border, talented artist Frau Henkenjohann (and her team) hand block antique linens creating exquisite pieces for your home. In German, the process is known as “Blaudruck” or blueprint. The crafts people take the antique fabric and dye and hand block the patterns on each. These placemats are antique linen with a new pattern hand blocked on each. Limited quantities. Each placemat is unique due to the process. 4 placemats per set.
