Atlanta is the hometown of Delta Airlines and the Delta Flight Museum at the world’s busiest airport. A week ago, I took an afternoon field trip to the museum to see the planes, exhibits, and learn the history of Delta. If you love aviation history like I do this is a must-stop on any visit to Atlanta. Housed in one of Delta’s original hangers, the museum is home to various Delta planes, historic displays, videos on the founding of the airline, a flight simulator, and gift shop.
