French Covered Casserole

In French shops, you might see these clay stew pots referred to as a faitout (fay-to). Ours is a great size for creating a hearty casserole. Take it directly from oven to table. Each piece is individually crafted and glazed, so no two are alike. Chefs prefer clay cookware because it enhances natural flavors better than other materials and creates delicious results. A small, family-owned company in the Basque region of France makes these for us. Oven safe. Hand wash only.
